To allow for manual loading of the machine tool or to perform machine maintenance, the upper structure\u2014including the robot\u2014can be manually slid to the side as needed. This ensures unobstructed, manual access to the machine\u2019s work area at all times\u2014ideal for the day shift, flexible setup of small production runs, or urgent manual loading operations.<\/p>\n<p>Before upcoming idle cycles, the cell is simply moved back into position. High rigidity, precise recirculating ball bearings, and exact positioning ensure an absolutely repeatable loading position. The respective end position can be securely locked in place using locking pins and vertical clamps and is monitored by sensors.
