Task: |
The bearing housings are to be joined to finished assemblies in a semi-automatic system with needle bearings, inner rings and bolts and then subjected to a torque test. |
Solution: |
Assemblies are joined and tested in a self-sufficient assembly cell. The bearing housings are manually inserted into a TECHTORY feeder-storage system. The spatial separation of the operator and machine sides means that loading can take place parallel to the main process. A lifting unit ensures that the part to be removed is always presented to the removal handling system at the same level. The other individual parts are also filled manually into buffer tanks.
A handling system transports the parts one after the other in the required sequence to the press-fit and testing station. Pressing and screwing in is carried out using a servo press with force/displacement monitoring. Finally, a torque module with torque sensor checks the ease of movement of the bearings. Good parts are placed on a buffer belt, reject parts are ejected. |
