Partially automated manual workstations – Assembly and test facility for air nozzles

Workpiece:

Ventilation nozzles consisting of housing parts and lamellas

Task:

The assembly and quality inspection of ventilation nozzles is to be carried out at several, successive work stations. The assemblies consist of individual housing parts, different louvers as well as decorative parts.

Solution:

Several semi-automated workstations were combined to form an assembly line. Ergonomic operation, insertion aids, design according to the poka-yoke principle and a high level of work safety characterize the individual stations. In a final EOL test station, a functional and completeness check of the installed components is carried out; O.K. parts receive a label.
