Automated assembly line for the production of subassemblies from difficult sheet metal parts

Workpiece:	Fastening element with support spring
Task:	Development of an automated assembly system for the production of assemblies from difficult sheet metal parts “fastening element with support spring”.
Solution:	The individual parts “fastening element with support spring” are filled by the worker as bulk material into two vibratory bowls, separated and automatically fed into the system. After the spring plates have been fitted, they are bent into shape by means of pneumatic pressure rollers. A load cell then measures the spring force: NOK parts are rejected.
Customer benefits:	High degree of automation in the assembly process, ergonomic feeding of components and removal of finished assemblies, high output of 1,000,000 pieces/year.
