Workpiece: |
Hand cleaning devices (2 models) |
Task: |
Semi-automated pre- and final assembly and packaging of two different hand cleaning devices. |
Solution: |
The assembly line consists of four semi-automated and height-adjustable manual workstations based on the Techtory standard “manual workstation” system. Thanks to swivel castors, the workstations are not stationary. Interchangeable panels are positioned at the rear of the tables for conversion to the two variants.
At workstation 1, a rubber lip is first pneumatically inserted into an aluminum rail. The components are inserted manually and the parts are scanned by sensors. After the handle and device head have been inserted into the mold holders at workstation 2, the parts are detected by sensors and clamped pneumatically. A connecting bolt is automatically fed and pressed in. The joining process is force/displacement-monitored. At workstation 3, the automatic screw assembly of an aluminum rail to the pre-assembled module takes place. This is done using an electric screwdriver with automatic screw feed and torque and rotation angle monitoring. At the same time, an adjustment button is pressed in from below (position monitored). Workstation 4: After the finished assemblies have been placed in a mold holder, a completeness check is carried out and the tested assemblies are packed. |
